The location…very close to city without the noise and parking problems. Spacious room with unique decor! Access to pool and somewhere to sit and enjoy a drink, almost felt like being in the countryside, apart from sound of nearby motorway.

Cool room with a fun theme, super clean, and has a mini kitchen. 🛁 You can even relax in a bathtub right in the bedroom and there's a balcony too!

Lovely location, within walking distance of Lucca. The medieval theme is carried out successfully in the rooms and public areas. Great pool, lovely breakfast. The young man at the reception was most helpful. Very relaxing location away from the tourist crowds but well-positioned near the sights. Nice to have a frig, stove and oven in the second room.
There was no lift. However, the young man at reception carried out luggage up to the third floor for us.

Nothing too much trouble, we truly enjoyed staying in this place. Had a very good stay with our family, we spent 6 nights here, everything was perfect. The pool was nice and the staff was very attentive and flexible. The location was stunning and lovely, just a short stroll away from Puccini's Birth Home Museum. Moreover, it's just next door to the centre of Lucca, and the old town walls...

The location of the hotel is convenient, as it is close to the city walls of Lucca and just outside the castle. This provides easy access to explore the historic city. there are complementary cappuccinos and hot chocolate at breakfast, which is a nice touch.
There were some issues with the Wi-Fi connection in certain rooms.

The room was clean and pleasant although the medieval theme is overdone.
The advertised pool had been drained some time before. Breakfast arrangements were in a tent beside the drained pool in the garden. At this time of year it was very cold and it rained in.Slugs were climbing the tent sides in proximity to the food table. there was no bar or sitting area inside the building. A major building project was underway with heavy machinery (diggers and concrete mixers on the site during the day.
